"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." The words Lucifer and Illuminati are from the same root word. Lucifer literally means light-bearer. It is from the Latin "lucis" (light) and "ferre" (carry). Illuminati is from the Latin "il" (in) and "lumino" (light) meaning to give light to, or to enlighten. Illuminati is a plural noun so it means the enlighten ones. The Word of God says this of Lucifer's Illuminati: "... Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." (2 Cor 11:14-15)
